Mr. Ahmed Sokarno
Chief Executive Officer
Ahmed is the founder and CEO of Australian Academy of Sport Ltd. Over a long career in professional football, he has served as Head Coach of the Australian Football College, the CEO of Australian Sports Academy, Australian Academy and with various national football clubs in Australia, Jordan, Yemen Arab Republic and Egypt and accredited signor coach by the Football Federation of Australia. He was a member of the Advisory Committee for the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games as well as he have a Bachelor Degree in Physical Education and three diplomas in sports and recreations and Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.

Mr Cameron Jones
Business Development Manager
Cameron is the Business Development Manager of AAS. He has worked within the sports industry for over 10 years at all levels of Government and the non-profit sectors. Cameron has been the Managing Director of a small sports consultancy firm completing strategic planning, volunteer education and training and grant funding. Currently he is the Chairman of the Gold Coast Institute of Sport Limited, and the Secretary of the Mermaid Nobbys Miami Boardriders Club Inc. He is passionate about the sports industry and supporting young people to achieve their goals in the sports industry.

Ms Kristel Warchola
Operations Manager
Kristel has been in the group training industry for the past 5 years, recruiting, mentoring and monitoring apprentices and trainees in a variety of industries. Kristel has worked closely with host employers to ensure a successful outcome for our employees and has built many strong relationships within the business sector.

Ms Michelle Sciberras
Field Officer
Michelle has a wealth of knowledge in the Recruitment and Training industry, she has over 25 years’ experience working for major recruitment companies such as Manpower, Adecco, Trojan Workforce and Ready workforce in positions of National Operations Manager, Branch Manager and Regional Management. She has owned her own successful recruitment and training business. Michelle has placed CEO’s and managers in major corporations as well as junior positions providing training, mentoring and monitoring for positive outcomes and career paths.
